Books in the Writing Workshop Collections are trade books selected to be mentor texts to model and extend the lessons most commonly used in these workshops. These collections are available in small, medium and large sizes for kindergarten through 3rd Grade.

Topics in Writing Workshop Collection include: launching; craft lessons on beginnings, descriptive language, character, generating topics, plot, and theme; genres such as letters, memoir, and poetry; mentor texts including realistic fiction, expository nonfiction, narrative nonfiction, literary nonfiction, and personal narrative.
